Summa, Summa, Summatime!

I promise to blog more about my crazy summer, but for now, here is a recap of what I've done since school got out, and a quick run-through of our apartment in NC.  You may want to hit mute, I am annoying.

June 19th: School is out at Noon.
June 19th - June 26th: in Hawaii with Conor, Greg, Kari, Max, Dad and Kathy (look for a post on Conor's blog soon)
June 27th: Get home from Hawaii at 5:30am, go to school and pack up my crap, come home and pack up EVERYTHING in my bedroom and the garage at mom & Jean's, go to a kick-a going away party at the Glassey's, then crash...
June 28th: Appreciate that I have awesome friends and family, as Liz, Jean, Denise, Horia, Caroline and Peder help us pack our truck.  Special Ed the Driver will not be forgotten, neither will that day - it was tiring, Jean is a Tetris master, and I'm still tired from watching Horia run up and down my driveway...  Conor flies back to NC
June 28th - July 3rd: hang with mom, hang with friends and fam, freak out about leaving home.
July 3rd: Land in NC and go directly to movie theater to see The Hangover.
July 4th: Spent the 4th at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to catch a game and some fireworks (I already moved to North Carolina for the guy, did I really need to catch a baseball game on my second day there...
July 4th - 8th: sit in apartment twiddling my thumbs because we had no tv, cable, furniture, or really anything for that matter...
July 8th: We got to spend our anniversary with Special Ed the Driver, and the interns from Conor's office as we unpacked the moving truck.  Holy hell, how everything fit in this tiny apartment is beyond me...
July 9th - July 23rd: Basically, we've been unpacking, eating at the local eateries (Locopops, Pepper's, Backyard BBQ Pit, OnlyBurger, Fuddruckers, LocalYogurt, etc...) and an anniversary celebration at PF Chang's. Within this time frame we also made two trips to Ikea which is two+ hours away, played some mini-golf, watched a lot of movies, got cable and internet, heard a couple actually use the term "Colored People" at Target, used up almost all the gift cards we received from family and friends, bought a table from lesbians off of Craigslist, and enjoyed spending time together - it's been a while!

Wasn't that fun?  Now, remember to hit mute if you want to enjoy this 3 minute trip through our apartment!

  1. I'm gonna go ahead and make a second comment:

    1. You said it was Durham Cribs. I must have missed the necessary open fridge shot.
    2. That's the same couch as us and remember we have the same bedroom set. We're practically sleeping together.
    3. I watched the video, but now I'm sad. I miss your voice.
